Sunday morning 29.8. it was very autumn and according to the weather forecast, rain could be expected. For a golfer, it goes without saying that “there is no bad weather, it’s just bad clothes for golf”, but that’s not the case when it’s raining. With this in mind, we approached Ještěd and further in the direction of the golf course in Grabštejn, where we had a traditional tournament at the end of the holidays.

A total of 35 participants gathered us, 28 players entered the tournament and 8 members of our association took part in the event.
Before the tournament, Jan Šefčík, the owner and headgreenkeeper, welcomed us in one person and described the condition of the course and local rules. We were all glad that it was possible to build…. All players completed the tournament in a cool and good mood. You can find the results of the tournament here.
I am happy to say that Professor Petr Sklenička, Rector of the CULS in Prague, took part in the tournament and, in addition to clearly winning the entire tournament, both in gross and net results, he also supported cooperation between the CULS in Prague and the Czech Greenkeeper Association. We thank you for your support and we will continue to develop our cooperation to our mutual satisfaction. In the end, the prizes were distributed and the members of the association were given sponsorship gifts from the partners of the Czech Association of Greenkeepers, to whom we also thank for their support.
