Saturday early morning 24.8. It was beautiful in Lety u Berounky and promised a pleasant summer day. During the journey to the north to the foothills of the Jizera and Lusatian Mountains, there was no change in the weather, and so the arrival to the Grabštejn golf course was early but fine. Just in Grabštejn it always worked out with the weather and pleasant meeting after a year with familiar faces outweighed the morning getting up.

24.8. There was a traditional golf tournament on the local course, attended by 23 players. The competition was held in two categories: gross and net. The main gross category was won by Broňa Hruška, the second was Jiří Kocmánek, the third Zdeněk Svatoň, the fourth Alois Rameš and the fifth Ivan Strakoš.

Many thanks again to the local owner and greenkeeper in one person, Mr. Jan Ševčík, who this time during the summer gave us a pleasant asylum for our game. Every time I come to this area, I always find something new. It is a nice feeling to know that friends are still in their places and always move a little further. At the announcement and presentation of the prizes, together with Honza Ševčík, we said that next year we will meet again at Grabštejn last holiday weekend.
